Presently I own Tolkien and Tolstoy T-shirts.
I sometimes wear them when I teach my English
classes–it’s nice to instigate discussions of
literature in the most ordinary places, too.
Is there any possibility of doing an A.R. Ammons
t-shirt? Thanks!

What happened to all of your old posts?
Great shirts! I am the proud owner of three, which I wear frequently! People are always asking me to stop so they can read the backs, and I tell them were to get their own!
You guys still have not been to Millville for our 3rd Friday Art walk. You need to meet Amy from Bogarts Books - a great little book store.

Absolutely fantastic shirts! I have several, and never tire of people asking me to stop so they can read them more closely. Thought provoking, they all make important points that have been made before … and forgotten.

Seriously cool shirts… but you’re missing one necessary fellow. Poe. Just in case his importance has escaped you, here are a few little known facts: He was the first American to make a living solely from his writing. Granted he went hungry many nights, but he proved it could be done. Poe also fought for the new concept of “copyrights” for American writers and was the father of the whodunit genre. Please consider this quote for a Poe shirt “Truth is not always in a well. In fact, as regards the more important knowledge, I do believe that she is invariably superficial.” (from “The Murders in the Rue Morgue”) Thanks for giving Edgar a second thought. Sincerely, Holly
